IInstallation Halts IE 4.0 or higher is required

I am installing the drivers for my PCI-GPIB card (ni488225.exe) and get the error "Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher is required...."  I am currently running IE 7.  I have read the knowledgebase article suggesting misexec /unreg forllowed by msiexec /regserver and have tried this with no affect.  Other ideas are solicited.

Did you see the link attached to this KnowledgeBase artice? This Microsoft article talks about some steps to fix common installation errors.

You could also try a diffferent version of NI-488.2. From the name of your exe file, it looks like you are trying to run the driver version 2.5. The latest version is 2.7. This is available here and should support your PCI-GPIB card.
