Hi Samuel,
I have a few questions:
Where do you switch the resolution to 0,001 (would be 3,5)?
What do you configure via GPIB, the resolution?
By configuring the resolution manually, what do you mean by frontpanel, the multimeters or a LabVIEW front panel?
Where do you read the measured value, in LabVIEW? (tried to change numeric display settings?)

Hello,
-I switch the resolution to 0,001 from teststand via IVI driver (would be 4,5)
-Yes I configure the resolution via GPIB .
-By configuring the resolution manually I mean the frontpanel of the agilent multimeter
- I read the measure value in teststand with help of IVI driver, but I also see the measurement value floating on the frontpanel of the agilent multimeter when I switch the multimeter to local after it was configured from teststand with IVI driver.

Hi Samuel,
Please tell me also which agilent instrument, and which driver do you use!

Hi,
A few months ago i also controlled a 34401A via GPIB, without any problems, so maybe its a driver problem!
Try to download and install another driver automatically und LabVIEW Tools>Instrumentation>Find Instrument Driver
