What I'd like to do is very mundane and straighforward, but I would like to get some ideas from the community regarding my issue.
Essentially what I would like to do is have some type of VISA enabled COM device to control a stopwatch program within my LABVIEW program. What my program currently does is control vibratory motors through an Arduino MEGA using the Labview for Arudino SDK files.
What do you guys recommend for a sort of Staples 'Easy Button' device that may be USB enabled and detected like an FTDI COM device? Is there anything out in the market that might be easier to just buy premade, or would it be relatively easily to build such a device? The end goal is to capture the reaction time (in ms) of subjects who are exposed to a vibratory stimuli from the motor.
