Image capture with Hauppauge WinTV to IMAQ

Hello,

I found a thread

which mentions that someone had success doing image capture with a Hauppauge WinTV bt878 based card.  I am trying to use IMAQ image averaging software along with this board, and need a way to capture images from the board within Labview.  However, I could not find the example code mentioned in the above post.

Has anyone had any luck in making this or a similar card work?

Hi Rgann -

It looks like the VI mentioned has been taken down in the five years since it was posted.  NI doesn't provide any LabVIEW drivers for third-party devices, and I'm unable to find any currently on the DevZone.  I recommend contacting Hauppauge for more information.  They may at least be able to provide you with a driver API that can be called from LabVIEW.

Of course, there's always the hope that one of our forum regulars has some code you can use, too!
