Increase PWM Frequency for Motor Speed Control via Labview LINX and Arduino Uno

Folks - Any idea how to increase the frequency of a PWM signal in an Arduino [from the default 500 Hz] to say, 20 kHz. The motor makes a whining noise at any frequency below that [tested it out with an oscilloscope/functional generator]. 

Had to go with Arduino, since the USB DAQs like the legacy 6009 or the 6001 are such poor PWM generators from their digital ports. There is so much jitter/noise with them. Quite unfortunate that a simple task like that is not possible with the USB DAQ.
