Instrument simulation with PC

Hi,

I want to simulate an instrument with my PC and a NI PCI-GPIB board on windows XP.The Ni documentation explains how to implement a controller but not an instrument.

The instrument I want to simulate manages several secondary addresses. I don't know how to use the Ni API to do such an instrument.Ibdev() seems to work only for a CIC and ibconfig() can only manage 1 secondary address.

Does anybody knows how to implement that kind of instrument.

Your best bet to do this sort of thing is going to be NI-Device.  You will need the "Plus" edition to get multiple PAD/SAD emulation.
