Interfacing 8051 to 7210

I am trying to develop an 8051 microcontroller eith a GPIB interface using the 7210. Has anyone done this, or does anyone have any suggestions on where I could find information beyond the data sheets?

Hello-

NI Developer Zone has a document that talks about using the new TNT4882 chip with this microcontroller. This document will probably help with the 7210 as well. This document is in zone.ni.com under:

NI Developer Zone > Development Library > Instrument Connectivity > GPIB > GPIB ASICs

What is the difference between the TNT4882 and the 7210? The 4882 is $400, but the 7210 is only $15. Such a difference in price suggests a pretty strong difference in functionality. (At least, I would hope there was a big difference.)

Actually the 776866-01 part number is for the developer kit. The TNT4882-BQ part number is for the TNT4882 ASIC (see pg 807 of the 2001 catalog). It's not listed on the website. I'll inform our webgroup about this oversight.
