I will let the NI folks respond from the Ni4882 point
of view. In my experience the best bet for working
with HP products from MS is to use Agilent's IO libs.
They were free when I downloaded the most recent
version, but I was told by one of their engineers that
the plan was to start charging for the libs.
The Agilent IO libs work great with MS and the support
documentation is OK. You may have a problem with
operating system compatibility. The older HP cards
including the 82335 work with the G series libs (I
think I am right on the series) which is limited to
Win95. You can check this on the Agilent IO lib
