Keithley 2100 and Labview 7.1 ?

Solved!
Go to solution
Hi,
I am the (happy ?) owner of a new Keithley 2100 and all the drivers I found are for Labview 8.0 or later. I want to use this device on a WInXP machine running Labview 7.1 (On another machine I have a LV8.5 but I can not save this Keithley VIs to earlier than 8.0 version). Any advice on how to do this (down) conversion ? Is it possible ?
Thanks for help,
N

It's possible for someone with LabVIEW 8.0 to save as 7.1. You can attach the 8.x driver and ask for someone to do the conversion. I don't have 8.0 so someone else will have to do it.

Place the converted files in instr.lib directory; it's not a marvelous solution, but you will be able to use the driver with LabVIEw 7.1. Sorry, but I don't have the time to prepare a complete driver and to rebuilt the palette system; if someone could take the time to do this, in comparaison with what is present under LabVIEW 8.0 (see below), don't forget to submit your job there and on the driver network.

Thanks in advance!
