Dear all
it is my first time to try to connect my laptop with Lecroy Wavejet 314 oscilloscope. I have installed in my laptop labview 2011, Measurement $ Automation Exploer 5.1
I have the basic question:
1. Do I need to connect my laptop directly with oscilloscope via internet cable or shall I connect my laptop and the oscilloscope separately into the internet via two ports?
2. How to know the IP address of my oscilloscope?
3. How do I know which port I am using for LAN connection?
Thank you ~~~~

I would be surprised if LeCroy doesn't describe how to connect to the oscilloscope using LAN in one of their manuals. Agilent certainly does.
Whether you want to connect to the oscilloscope directly or not is up to you.

Hi,
Here is a link to the LeCroy product manuals page: LeCroy Manuals
You will find a Getting Started manual, a Quick Reference Guide, and a Remote Control manual under the WaveJet 300A.
If you have any challenges after looking at the manuals, feel free to email or call me for technical support.
I am happy to help out.
