I am not sure if the VIs from the Motion Toolbox are compatible with LabVIEW 8. What version of LabVIEW do you have them with now? You could try and mass compile. Here is a link to a KnowledgbeBase that talks about upgrading the Motion Toolbox VIs from 5.1 to 6.0. There are very old versions of LabVIEW so I would not be surprised if they did not compile in 8. Follow the steps in the KB to see and let us know how it goes.
