Hi Lorenzo, given that the TDS510A uses GPIB you would need to use NI-488.2, the specific version depends on the compatibility of your system.

Regarding the Instrument driver, I wasn't able to find the one for the TDS510A in the Instrument Driver Network, however, you could try downloading the instrument driver for a similar model and modify if necessary.

Thank you for your response. I am using GPIB and trying to use "instrument I/O -> serial" to communicate with TDS510. Is this the same with NI-488.2? And do you have examples?

Yes, you could use NI-488.2.

Regarding the examples, unfortunately, I don't have any, you could request help from an Alliance Partner in the Instruments Driver Network, under the "Need help?" section you can request for a new driver with the respective examples.
