Thank you for the information about the versions. I don't have any experience with using GPIB on non-supported versions of Linux. Perhaps someone in your other Discussion thread https://forums.ni.com/t5/Instrument-Control-GPIB-Serial/NI488-2-gpib-usb-b-linux-install-ERROR-gcc-d... will have some information. Also, you should post your question on the Linux Users Group (https://forums.ni.com/t5/Linux-Users/bd-p/5097) where someone there might have an answer.
