Hello,
When you say MAX crashes after start-up, do you mean that you have to reboot your computer? If yes, then try changing setting in the device manager so that it does not automatically reboot after a crash (right-click my computer>properties>advanced>startup and recovery>uncheck automatically reboot).
If not, is it just giving you an error and shutting down MAX? If yes, then what error is it giving you?
Also, what operations did you perform before you started noticing this behavior of MAX? Did you upgrade any software or install any other new software?
Also have you tried reinstalling the software (labview or data acquisition or any other that installed MAX with it)?
Any information would really help me assist you.
Thank you!
Good luck and have a grea
t day.

I was able to fix it by installing the latest version of DAQ. The crash came after I installed the latest package for my GPIB-ENET hardware. To be quite honest, I'm a little upset that there was no mention of needing the new DAQ for MAX to run. MAX would start, and then terminate after a few seconds.

Hello,
MAX does not need new DAQ. What must have happened is that you must have had a bad MAX install which would've been fixed with your new daq re-install.
But its good that it works now.
Good luck
