MAXVISATimeoutError when 82357A USB-to-IEEE488 installed under Windows 7.

When it isn't working, I can't pull up a test panel, because the IEEE488 devices don't even show up in MAX. I can't expand the Software item under My System, and Tools->NI VISA->VISA Interactive Control does nothing.

However, even though MAX can't see them, and I get the timing error, Agilent IO can still see the IEEE488 devices and communicate with them.

The timing error in MAX goes away when I unplug the Agilent USB-to-IEEE488 device.

Have you tried hooking up another device in place of the Agilent device?

I have not tried other devices. I wanted to try an 82357B, but the computer is unavailable for the time being, so this issue is on hold.
