Measure Voltage Signal In Data Logger

Hi

I have a NI 9215 USB data logger. It is identified as a VISA resource by labview. ( I have 7.1) I require to measure a voltage signal and see it in a graph using the device. How should I go about it. I have a crude programme ( which doesn't work). Can somebody modify it, or give me some directions other than this.

Thanks

Mal

Hi,

With the latest NI DAQ MX driver installed you can use the DAQ assistant express VI in LabVIEW for the USB DAQ products. You can download the drivers for free at www.ni.com/downloads and selecting the "drivers and updates" link. With the new drivers you will also get the latest version of Measurment and Automation Explorer utility with which you can now use test panels to see the raw signals inputted / outputted.

I hope this helps!

Kurt.

Dear Kurt,

I have encountered the same problem. With the NI DACmx driver version 2, the DAC assistant express still does not seem to recognize the cRIO-9215. Is there any other way to create a sample programme with this device ?
