NI-488.2 ExpressCard problem using Vista

I am trying to install an ExpressCard - GPIB card in a laptop running Vista. I am getting errors during the NI-488.2.2.40 part of the install. The error is WiseCustomCallal.7EEDDOA1_408B_11D3_9AE0_006097741583.dll is invalid or could not be found. However the tmp file C:\Windows\43B5AA64B86D427687969144791EE31D.TMP folder and another TMP folder are there with the dll files. IF I try to repair the installation, NI Labview Run-Time Engine 7.0 and NI Measurement and Automation Explorer repairs are successful, however the NI-488.2.2.40 repair has the same errors. Any help would be appreciated.

Vista requires all new drivers for hardware. According to this, the latest version of NI-488.2 is 2.4 and it does not support Vista. NI has said that they are working on it but there is no schedule for the update.
