My test setup working in Windows 10. But after upgraded to Windows 11, it can't detect the Camera. Either in Ni MAX or device manager, no camera is detected.
We are using Ni-IMAQ runtime 18.5
All hardware didn't change as we are just upgrades from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Refer to comparison on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Can anyone advise what is the possible problem to solve it?
Camera model: AVT Marlin F-145B2
Thanks.

This seems a Firewire camera!
Basically Windows 11 does not support Firewire. There might be a possibility to use the legacy drivers as explained in that post. But if it works and if it can be recognized by NI-IMAQdx is not guaranteed. Also notice that NI-IMAQdx 19.5 is the latest that has IEEE-1394 support. But this version was never tested to work with Windows 11. It may work but no guarantees and there will be no support from NI to make it work.

Hi
Just an update.
The problem resolved after new installation of Windows 11. It is not clear what's went wrong with previous upgrade where every driver/PCI card unable to detect the camera.
Same NI IMAQ 18.5 is used.
It worked with certain IEEE driver (i.e LSI or Texas Instrument1394 OCHI depend on PCI card) but then this will not detect by Vimba Viewer from the Camera manufacturer. Some IEEE drivers (TI OCHI (Intek)) will let camera detected by VIMBA Viewer, but will not detects by Windows 11 (24H2). However, in Windows, it detected as other device instead of Camera.
Anyway, it will work with NI IMAQ and work for our test program.
Thanks for help.
