NI-SPY cannot capture the GPIB calls, it is always "capture off"

the GPIB card installed in this PC is working, but the utility software NI-SPY cannot be on, it is always off.

Hello-

The NI-Spy requires clicking the blue arrow to begin the capture.

Tried the Blue Arroww , still reports capture off . will not switch capture on

Are you talking to the GPIB controller through a NI driver? (NI-488 or NI-VISA)  Spy buffers calls through NI drivers it does not monitor the hardware itself

Bill,

 

did you try reinstalling the software as I suggested!!, berfore you re-install make sure you clean out the registry and product related folder.
