NI-Serial inop with executable code

I am using a PCI485 with 4 ports. In LabVIEW 6.02 I can address all four ports. When I create an executable, it works as well. But when I put the executable on a machine without LabVIEW on it, the executable does not work. As long as I specify only use ONE port, the executable works.

Have you installed NI-Serial driver on the target machine?

Have you mapped the ports of the PCI485 in the same manner to COMx as in your development machine?

I have installed some machines with NI-serial, LV runtime and the application. With the porper configuration in the control panel they all worked well under NT and W2K.

I found that the problem was not the serial card or it's drivers. I am required to install the IVI engine and VISA from my LabVIEW disk, along with the Run Time Engine. Thanks
