NI Spy: ibwrta

Solved!
Go to solution

 Hello,

With NI Spy,  I am only interested in the ibwrta lines.  I was considering exporting the captured data to a text file, then writing a script to extract these lines, but is there a better way???  My API choices are NI-488.2 and NI-VISA.  (Also, is there a maximum call history depth?)

Thanks a lot!

Hi JenT,

The only filtering options you have in NI-SPY can be found in the NI SPY options under the View Selection tab. As you can see ibwrta is not listed so using a script to extract the desired code may be your best bet. Theoretically the maximum call history depth is really only limited by your available memory, although I wouldn't advice making it much larger than you need, juts because it will slow down your system.
