Hi everyone,

Is it possible to turn off the drive for the serial ports?

I have wired the outputs directly to an analog switch and I am getting approx 1.6V on the 5V pins of this device.

Hi Mike,

You can use the VISA configure serial port VI. From the VISA resource name out create: Property for Instra Class »Serial Settings »Modem Line Settings» right click, change to write. There you are able to set asserted or unasserted states.

Please see the attached VI just to demonstrate this.
