We are using a PXI-1006 chasis, and the Win2000 Device manager shows a resource conflict and in MAX it does not show a PXI-1006. I believe that is why we do not recognize the GPIB card.

The online
KnowledgeBase 2PNANEFP
talking about Resource conflicts on certain BIOS. I am not aware of any problems with any of our BIOSes for our PXI controllers

Make sure that the GPIB card does not come up as Simple PCI Communications Card and make sure that you have installed the
NI-488.2 driver
