I am new to using NI controllers. I have a PXIe- 8130 controller installed in a PXIe-1062Q chassis. The controller was working fine two weeks ago when we did some experiments. When I checked it back, we were not able to connect to the controller from the host.
I get a blank screen and controller does not even go to the bios. The “DRIVE” led is always lit and it does not blink when I restart the controller. I am not sure how to troubleshoot the controller.
Thank you

The NI PXIe-8130 User Manual gives a few troubleshooting steps:
Things to Try:
• Make sure the chassis is plugged in to a working power source.
• Check any fuses or circuit breakers in the chassis or other power supply (possibly a UPS).
• Make sure the controller module is firmly seated in the chassis.
• Remove all other modules from the chassis.
• Remove any nonessential cables or devices.
• Try the controller in a different chassis.
• Try a similar controller in this same chassis.
• Clear the CMOS. (Refer to the System CMOS section of Chapter 2, Installation and Configuration.)
You can find more of these steps in the link below. If you are unable to resolve the problem using the User Manual, call into NI support.

Anson,
Thank you for the reply. I tried these steps given in the manual (except checking the controller in different a chassis and I could not find a different controller), nothing seems to be working.
