Pickering LXI card VISA comm issues

  • I am forced to use a PC connected to a Pickering LXI chassis. I have a 41-450 comparator card in the 18U chassis. I have LXI, NI VISA, pipx40, and pi40iv drivers all installed. On my work laptop I have labview 2023 (can’t remember the quarter) and NI MAX(most recent version) installed. When I installed the Pickering visa and IVI drivers on my laptop they installed correctly so that when I moved everything to the NI folders the drivers showed up in labview with the product tree etc. in my offline work pc version it seems the ni.proj files were blocked as (undisclosed arizona employer) does not allow labview due to horrible coders previously. So I am not able to access the pipx40 driver vi’s in labview. So I’m like fine. Company is a load of morons. I figure I can go to NI max and at least see the cards over there. Not so. I was able to get the mux cards to appear via IVI setup but the comparator card is not working at all.

I need help. I’m trying to push the IP address of the comparator into the visa address in C# and I’m struggling with that. I have the IP address of my LXI chassis such as 196. .x.x.x. According to Pickering the card in slot 7 is suppose to say TCPIP0::196.1.2.3:INSTR:b4d13::INSTR

However AI states the card location as being different as does Pickering. However basic visa comms in NI shows the address stated above is what ni wants. Pickering soft panel gives the exact address but NI visa disagrees.  And since all the c# code is going into teststand I need the C# code to be compatible with NI. can someone give me the proper address or some other way to possibly talk to my comparator card in max and labview?
