Problem with configuring Devices that I have to attach with my PCII GPIB card

I have a GPIB PCII card that I have attached with my windows 3.1 machine (this is an old machine), I have to use this card to attach a multimeter and a current source to run a C program that I have to use for my measurements? Does anyone know how do I have to configure these devices, I mean what I require to do that?

Hi,

For the configuration of the GPIB interface you can check the following page:

However, it seems that you are looking for information on how to configure the devices. If this is the case you need to refer to the documentation of these devices. From the GPIB controller there isn't any configuration needed. You tell the controller to what address it is going to communicate and it expects a device to be there. Any remote configuration would be done through data commands that are specific to the device.
