RS232 (cRIO 9030 ) - VISA cannot currently access it

 Hello guys,

I have received recently a cRIO 9030. Now, I want to test its RS-232 port (please see attached) but I am getting the error message below. 

" VISA:  (Hex 0xBFFF0072) The resource is valid, but VISA cannot currently access it. "

The device is present in max but I can't open the Visa Test Panel:

Device Status : VISA returned this device when finding resources, and MAX was able to use VISA to parse the resource name.  The resource was busy, so MAX could not successfully open a VISA session to the device. 

Does anyone have a solution for this issue?

 Hello,

The issue was that I have forgotten to disable the Console Out startup option in MAX (enabled by default) that's why the RS-232 serial port couldn't be accessed.

Now everything is working fine.
