Read data on PCI GPIB

Dear All,
We have a very old system with a HP PC with PCI GPIB card (OS - DOS 3.1), a control drive (connected with PC through GPIB and Serial) and device (Connected with Control drive through motion controller).

The system is working with pci GPIB. But unforutanetly we don't have GPIB command set for communication with the control drive. I want to read the data pass on the GPIB Bus.

I tried to connect another PCI GPIB in non System Controller mode to the HP PC and read data from the bus, but not been able to get data.

Please let me know if any one has the solution for this.

It sounds to me like you're looking for the GPIB analyzer. You can purchase a PCI-GPIB+ which will give you the ability to monitor everything on GPIB without interfering with it.
