SSA 1000A

Hi,

   I am trying to talk to a Farnell SSA 1000A Spectrum Analyser. The documentation (written in 1991) says that there is a LabWindows driver available for this device... I would really like a LabVIEW driver, but one step at a time. I can not find this driver anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas of where I can find it?

It's not on idnet so perhaps it's one that the vendor developed.

Hey,

I've had a search myself and it seems this device isn't really around much any more - I can't even find a copy of the manual for download, never mind the drivers.  You might be able to contact Farnell for this information if they have a technical support line. If it's a GPIB device and the manual mentions the commands you can use the VISA VI's within LabVIEW to communicate.
