Secmentation Fault GDB Debugger

Hello,
i develop a programm under Linux Suse 9.2. To test and debug my Application I use the kgdb debugger. The problem is that every 488.2 funktionktion results a segmentation fault under gdb. The driver examples too. Under normal conditions, without gdb, the programms work normal.

Have anybody solution

I have isolate a part of the Problem, during the board is in online mod, I can't step through the programm. The programm opens a second thread on the first GPIB call. little bit after this the thread resceive a Segmentation Fault signal, and died. How can I fix the problem?

Lemiras,

R&D is in the process of developing a fix for this.  I can't guarantee, but I can state with high confidence that this will be fixed in the next version of the NI-488.2 for Linux driver.  We understand that it is very useful to be able to use GDB to debug problems in a program.

I have the same problem with Mandrake 10.1.

Is there an alternate debugger that works with the NI 488.2 driver for Linux and that i can use to debug gpib-based  applications ?

Thanks in advance

JCRZ,

Not of which I am aware, unfortunately.  If you do find one, please post it here.
