I have piezo controller PI E-662 LVPZT Position Servo-Controller through RS232 connected to my computer. I am using Labview v.8.20 and Advanced Serial Write and Read.vi. I want to control E-662's internal function generator by commands. Now I can send one command to "string to write"-input of vi (for example VOLT?). But what kind of labview structure I need if I want to send many commands quickly/one after another? For example if I get some impulse signal which starts to send commands like POS 50.6, POS:LOW 10, POS:HIGH 70, FREQ 50, FUNC SIN... (those commands starts the internal function generator) to the internal function generator? How I have to wire the "string to write" input and what kind of structure is needed for several commands? Maybe vi I mentioned is not the best one for my task but at least I can try with it?
