Switch reports wrong terminal block

Hi All,

I'm trying to use a TB-2642 with a NI-2532, but MAX won't let me select the TB-2642 as a topology/terminal block (it only allows the TB-2640, TB-2641, TB-2643 and TB-2644) - anyone got any ideas?

Hi crelf,

This has been reported to R&D (# 3RT8UNXX) for further investigation. A possible workaround is to first upgrade to the latest version of NI-SWITCH driver 3.0  and then select "none" as a terminal block in MAX. Then you will be able to select the appropriate topology that you are trying to use, such as "1-wire 16x32 matrix".

I hope this helps and thanks for the feedback!

One more thing .... also, please upgrade to the latest version for the NI-DAQmx driver 8.0.1 as well. With this upgrade the issue will be resolved, so you don't have to worry about adding the accessory as "none".

I already had both the versions of NI-DAQ and NI-SWITCH that you suggested, so I think your bug still exists 🙂  That said, I've set the TB to "None" as you suggested and am able to select whatever I want - thanks!

PS: sorry for the duplicate posts - I have no idea what happened: I only clicked "Submit Post" once...
