Hi,
I have a Tektronix DPO3034 oscilloscope. I installed its driver from IDnet (http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=12211). When I run any of the example VIs, it returns the error code: 1073807343.
There are several messages that recommend upgrading of NI-VISA. So; I upgraded to NI-VISA 4.6.2 but nothing has changed.
I attached two MAX screenshots related to device.
My system:
LabVIEW 2009
NI-VISA 4.6.2
Interface: USB
Example VIs recognize the device as "USB0::0x0699::0x0413::C011807::INSTR".
P.S. I can get screenshots from the scope via Tektronix application OpenChoice.
Thanks for your help

Hi serhat.tat,
Please let us know which of the three drivers from that page you are using. Also, what version of Windows are you using? Generally, upgrading NI-VISA will fix this. Have you installed Tektronix drivers since you upgraded your NI-VISA to 4.6.2?
Also, take a look at this KnowledgeBase article, and let us know if you have Wavestar installed, or just OpenChoice?
One other suggestion would be to try uninstalling both the NI drivers and the Tektronix drivers, then reinstall them both, starting with the NI drivers. This will at least ensure that you have a clean installation to work with.
Have a great afternoon -

Hello John,
I'm using project style instrument driver and my windows is XP.
Wavestar is not included on the product CDs so I just installed OpenChoice.
I removed NI-Visa 4.6.2, LabVIEW Instrument driver, OpenChoice and TEKVisa as you suggested.
Then I reinstalled them starting with NI-Visa and nothing has changed, but I realized that there is another CD called "NI LabVIEW SignalExpress Tektronix Edition" supplied with the scope.
I started installation of this CD and it said there is a higher version of "SignalExpress" & "MAX" already installed but it installed
"NI LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5.1 Tektronix Edition" somehow and the example vi started to communicate with the scope 🙂
Thanks for your help.
