Trouble moving a PCI-GPIB card from a mac to a PC

Hello,
The lab I work at is replacing an old mac G3 running OS9 to a PC running windows xp. When I install the mac's PCI-GPIB card in the PC, windows won't load and instead it gets stuck at the message "Initializing Intel Boot Agent Version 2.6 Build 004" so it appears the card is causing some interruption to POST.

I read through the forums and these cards don't have firmware, so I'm not sure why there would be any sort of compatibility issues in moving the card over. I also tried a couple of different PCI slots to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Plowman,

That's really perculiar. Would you happen to have a home desktop computer you would be able to test this as-well? After it's able to load, just a reminder that you'll need the Driver 488.2 installed in your computer. (**This is for XP, and may need another version depending on you GPIB board)

Can you let me know how the test goes on another PC?
