Trouble using the NI usb rs485/4 with Omega and Lambda products

I am having trouble getting reliable (it worked one day and not the next)  communication to three Omega FMA 6700 flow meters and a Lambda ZUP power supply using the NI RS485/4 converter.  Using this RS485 converter I have been able to communicate with two TESCOM ER3000 pressure controllers without problems, but have had trouble with the Omega and Lambda products.  I have been able to command/receive data using another manufacturers single port rs485 converter which make me think it must be a configuration issue with the NI USB RS485 device?  I have tried using other ports on the device including the one that works for the TESCOM pressure controllers with no success.  I have configured the COM ports to the specifications given for the devices and tried all of the the other avialable settings as well.

Help >> Find Examples >> Hardware Input and Output >> Serial >> NI RS-485 Tranceiver Control.vi

Set the correct wire mode that matches your instrument and hit the run button.
If you are still getting errors please take an NI Spy log capture and post it here.
