Trying to Control J1939(XMD-02)

Hey guys.

I'm using NI-9862 for CAN communication.

 5.PNG

I’m trying to communicate with XMD-02 device by CAN(J1939).

And It past almost a week.

There are no error occur while running the VI.

But I can’t control the current.

I was trying to control 2 current about 0 ~ 700mA range.

I was trying to input the decimal but the current was 0 mA.

Is there anyone who try to communicate by J1939?

You could check the photo I take.

HI,

Do you want to give the current value to another hardware and get the current output value of that?

Did the hardware work well and just couldn't get the value?

Or you couldn't control the hardware?

I think you should refer to the examples of J1939 which is offered by NI in Example Finder.

J1939 Signal Input Single Point.vi

J1939 Signal Output SIngle Point.vi

I just want to give a current value to another hardware.

I already connect to current sensor(NI-9227) so I don't need to get current value from the CAN.

I try to use 'J1939 Signal Output SIngle Point.vi' but it doesn't work

After I was searching for answer, I found about 'trans_protocol_8.6_nixnet'

Link : https://forums.ni.com/t5/Example-Code/J1939-Transport-Protocol-Reference-Example/ta-p/3984291

I still can not control the current but I'm getting some data from the CAN.

Actually I don't know what am I receiving but it is connected.
