Trying to install GPIB USB HS on my Windows 2000 machine

Ok well I am trying to tinstall it on a windows 2000 machine. My computer could not detect or find the drivers required for the gpib-usb-hs. I also accidentally disabled the option to install gpib-usb-hs by accident. I was wondering if there's a way to be abel to install the driver and the gpib-usb-hs??

Just download the version of NI-VISA that supports Windows 2000.

I have NI-488.2. I don't know what kind of GPIB my GPIB=USB-HS is however.

That makes no sense. Is it or is it not a GPIB USB HS from NI? If its not from NI, then you should not install an NI driver. You should also know what version of the driver you are trying to install. The version is on the download page or on the DVD that came with the device.

I recently installed GPIB-USB-HS on a XP laptop. I seem to recall that when you install the latest NI-VISA it automatically installs the NI-488.2 as well.

I actually thought that VISA got installed if you first selected GPIB. Its not that important since the op has not mentioned installing either or if they were installed, what version.

Butter,
Both drivers can be found by clicking the Support tab. In windows device manager, qthe driver can be selected if you originally canceled the installation.
