Hello,
I guess this might be a really basic query, but am a beginner at NI - LabVIEW and am really struggling with this one. I am trying to get the data from NORMA D6000 power analyser to NI - LabVIEW using a IEEE 488.2 cable and PCI 8232 card. I have the right cable and the card installed in the desktop. For the PCI 8232 card driver, I used the following link -
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18717&ProdId=983&lang=eng
Do you think it is the correct one?
Also the (Measurement & Automation Explorer) is unable to detect the PCI 8232 or the NORMA D6000. But the Device Manager shows the presence of a PCI GPIB driver. I am really confused on how to go on about doing this.
Could you please provide me any suggestions?
Thanks,
Kind Regards,
Rohit Parakh

Hi Rohit,
The GPIB (IEEE 488.2) driver that you will require for communicating with your NORMA D6000 power analyser through your PCI 8232 card is the NI 488.2 driver, the latest version of which I have linked below for your convenience. I have also verified that this latest version of the driver is compatible with your PCI 8232 card.
Once you have the correct driver installed you should detect the PCI 8232e device in the Measurement & Automation Explorer.
