Hello I am a LabVIEW developer and trying to deploy some software I created that utilizes NI-VISA to some other colleagues' PCs, but I've tried 3 different people now within my corporation unable to install the NI-VISA 17.0 Runtime Engine. The first time they run the installer it gets to around 6-8% and freezes and every subsequent time it just stays at 0%. I've contacted my IT department and they've tried to run the installer as administrator and that still doesn't work. I still have a feeling it has something to do with our security software, but I don't know enough to say what might be causing the issue. My IT department doesn't know what to do either. Has anyone else experienced this issue and have a solution or any other ways around needing the NI-VISA runtime engine? These PCs are HP Laptops running Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1709.

Hello,
Some steps to try are outlined in the following article (the process would still apply in this case, even though the article is talking about this error for a LabVIEW installation): LabVIEW Installation Stuck at 0%
Other cases of this happening (such as this other forum post: https://forums.ni.com/t5/Instrument-Control-GPIB-Serial/NI-VISA-18-5-17-0-freeze-during-installation...) also reemphasize disabling all firewalls and security measures that may be blocking the installer from running properly.
