I'm running on NIMAX version25Q2 and want to communicate to several DMMs via Ethernet. They are configured and working fine under Windows 10 and an older NIMAX version.
After updating to version25Q2 the category "network devices" went missing in NI MAX. After checking the forum it was suggested to reinstall NI-DAQmx. I did so and the "network devices" category is there now (see attached pictures). I can't however see the tab "create a new TCP/IP device" as before.
What package/driver/magic am I missing?

Hi nifrahi,
Here are some steps you could take that might solve your problem:
1. Reinstall NI VISA driver (NI-VISA Download - NI)
2. Reset NI MAX database (Reset and Fix the Measurement & Automation Explorer Database File - NI)
NOTE: Resetting the database delete all configuration data stored in MAX including NI-DAQmx Tasks, NI-DAQmx Global Virtual Channels, custom scales, and device configuration. However, it will not impact the hardware in any way.
Let me know if it worked for you or not!
Best regards
Leonard
