I am getting this error when I open the NI Max, it then freezes the NI Max and becomes unusable:
The ni-pxi plug-in caused an exception in the ExpertManager::InitializeExpert function in the MAX process.
I have been installing newer version of Labview (2019) and a lot of other packages in my laptop in getting ready to start to work on a project. It consumes huge amount of time installing packages and trying to get the Labview Codes working on my PC, and when I thought I should be all set and now trying to connect to NI instruments, the NI Max wouldn't work and I am getting the error as described above. I'm looking for ways to address the issue without trying to uninstall everything and re-install again, as it seems to be brute force and will take a lot of time. Any ideas would be highly appreciated. I wonder what ni-pxi plugin the error is referring to.
