I am using two TCP/IP setups one on a Ethernet port talking to a university run network, the other a virtual network via a TCP/IP. however, when I go into MAX, it will not find the device (on the USB network) which has a static IP address. even if i enter the address manually, MAX will not find it. The two devices will talk perfectly find via CMD and will through explorer find the shared drive on the device, but MAX will not find and assign a VISA session to it. I have tried reassign the IP for the device to be the higher of the two, and also to make this the default network under the network settings in windows, but MAX will not find it.
