Hi,
I am trying to use a new VMIC PMC-5565PIORC device with the NI VISA driver. The conventional PMC-5565 cards work pretty well. But with the new PIORC cards I do not get the network interrupts to run. (The memory access seems to work fine.)
The "VMIC Enable Event.vi" internally uses the "VISA Enable Event" control, and this is where i get the error "-1073807302".
Does anybody have a suggestion how to get arround that issue?
I can imagine, that probably just some small adjustments in the driver file (v65_n_RT.inf), or an additional initialization step would be enough to fix that.

Hi Zeno,
I searched our internal databases and didn`t find any helpful ideas. Are you using this driver from ni.com/idnet?
http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=713
You have to know, that ni.com/idnet is a webspace, where 3rd Party Product Developers can place LabVIEW or CVI Drivers for their Devices, this means, we at NI don`t have the possibility to support or to change the driver or something like that. If I where you I would try to contact GEFanuc. I found a support contact in Augsburg (Support Phone: +49 821 5034-170, Hour: Monday - Thrusday, excluding holidays from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET; Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Support E-mail: aug-support@gefanuc.com ), perhaps they can tell you what changed between the two boards or perhaps they have a new driver for LabVIEW.
Best regards
Alex

Zeno,
I just noticed this post. Are you still having problems with the GE PIORC cards? I have a new version of the driver that has been tested with the cards.
Just send an email to jeff.monroe@ni.com and I'll send you the new driver.
Regards,
Marcus
