VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0011) Insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system

Hi,

In appln we are using "NXP 1768 Mbed board " Through  Mini usb port we are doing VISA Read Write operation of every 300 ms .

Appln is running for 20 to 30 mins properly suddenly we are getting the error

VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0011) Insufficient location information or the device or resource is not present in the system.

After that MAX also we are getting the same error when we try to open the COM port.Updating the Driver of Mbed board is resolving the issue temprorly again after 20 to 30 min of running the appln same error is occuring .

Please suggest me what could be the reason for this issue.

Did you have this issue resolved? , It seems to be a driver problem, open System Manager and see the state of your COM, does it appear with an exclamation mark?

Open an HyperTerminal session to verify if there is a problem with your driver.

Also download the latest version of VISA and verify that it is compatible with your LabVIEW version.
