VISA Read time out at serial communication.vi example in NI

The respond in serial monitor tool (portmon) is Length 80:....[0m.[2J.[1;1H.[0M.[2J.[1;1H.[18; 1HRSSI (dBm).[18:29H] If I using NI example Serial Communication.vi to send the command and try to capture the respond. Hello:

Try increasing the timeout interval to avoid that error. You can do this through Control Panel >> Devices >> select the card >> Properties (right-click) >> Settings Advanced >> Timeout interval.

Have you tried a loopback test? Here's a knowledge base (KB) entry resource that show's how to. If you go to ni.com >> Technical Support >> Knowledge base (option 3) >> and type in "Serial Communication Starting Point" you will get it.

Hope this helps. If you have any further queries, please let us know.
