I have a problem: I want to use a scope (Agilent) and connected it via USB-GPIB converter cable to my PC. At the Agilent IO Control the device is shown and I can send the *IDN? command. The answer is correct. In LV 8.5 I use the Instrument I/O Assistent with the same command and the same answer is coming back. When I try to connect and run the VISA-Ressourcename element LV is breaking down and I have to restart it. How can that be?
