VISA Wait on Event INFINITE

Can the VI "Wait on Event" wait infinite?

I am using LV 7.0, call Wait on Event VI, with parameters:
Event type: (VI_EVENT_ASRL_CHAR) 3FFF2035 hex
Time out: (VI_TMO_INFINITE) FFFFFFFF hex

I am expecting that timeout never comes.
I have got the error: Error -1073807339 occurred at VISA Wait on Event in ...
Possible reason(s): VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed.

Here is another forum post that discusses a similar issue. It is concerned with creating an interrupt, but it will also create a perpetual wait. Please note the caveat in the post after the picture. Also, make sure that the "I/O Timeout" is disabled for your device in Measurement in Automation Studio.

I do have a question though, is this timing out after a short period of time or 4294967 seconds (the max wait time which is ~50days)?

Thank you for the solution. Timeout happend in short time. I didn't set timeout in MAX.
