Does the device show up as a parallel port after installing the VISA driver?  Didn't think so.

Revert to the devices supplied driver and try again from there.

Hi i have the same problem like this guy. I accidently installed a VISA driver for a device while i don't need the VISA . How do i revert to the old driver?

Hi Dennis_Dutoit,

If you want to revert to the original driver you'll need to uninstall the VISA driver you installed, then re-install the original driver. You should be able to uninstall the VISA driver from Control Panel, under National Instruments Software.
