I have a strange problem with the DMA and VISA...
Using an old PC with Windows 2000 and a VXI-1394 interface with the software version
- NI-VISA 3.0.1
- NI-VXI 3.0
- nipalwf.dll V1.6.3f0
all is fine with the DMA transfert (viMoveIn32).... but...
With a new PC with Windows XP Pro and the same interface and cable and with the software version
- NI-VISA 3.6
- NI-VXI 3.3.1
- nipalwf.dll V1.11.0f0
the DMA transfert (viMoveIn32) return an error (0xBFFF0038 (VI_ERROR_BERR))
and using the "Measurement and Automation Explorer" I get a exclamation mark next to my module with the warning message
"Not all the device functionality may be available." and 4x the message "The device responded to the 'Assign Interupter Line' command with the error code 7"
I don't have this error on the Win2K computer...
I have try to use an hardware configuration file saved from on the working computer, but that changed nothing...
I have try on multiple WinXP PC with the same software set and I get the same error...
Any suggestion?
