When will OSX leopard support for VISA be available

Dear people,

Regarding time of arrival of NI-VISA 4.6.2 for mac osx 10.6

As labview users from version 1, with  published use of Labview programs in our scientific setting, we really need a time of arrival regarding NI-VISA for mac osx 10.6 "snow leopard".

This has become of importance due to delivery dates later this summer for runtime-compatible modules, based on software that we have been writing and updating for many years.

We prefer use of OSX unix software in our 24/7 systems to other OS's, even with experience of labview cross-platform capabilities from version 3 onwards.

Kind regards and thanks for 2009 SP1,

Paul FM Schoffelen

Dear Muks,

Thank you for your prompt answer.

I do have the beta version, and we have a working system.

However, I must deliver a 24/7 production system which should not be in beta stage.

There is still time though, but it would be of interest to know when a stable version can be expected in advance of 24/7 testing. We re-validate at version changes to warant correct results.

Best wishes,

Paul.

Dear Paul,

thank you for your post on our webforum. Mostly new software will be release two times a year. In the past a lot of software was released in August. Now this OS is something our R&D is working on, however at this moment I'm not able to assure that VISA will be compatible with snow leopard.
